"We stayed here for 4 nights and it was our favorite hotel from the trip. The room was very nice, high end features and staff was great. We used the rooftop pool quite a bit with drink and food service it was very good. Service and wait staff at on the rooftop was great constantly bringing towels, adjusting our umbrella, etc. It's very centrally located and walking distance to everything, they also helped with car service for us to the airport. The only thing that wasn't great was breakfast, but that was probably personal preference. We would stay here again"
"This hotel is breathtaking . It’s a mere 7 minute walk to the main square the hotel is beautiful . The staff is amazing . It’s not far from bus loop But would say 15 minute walk with suitcases . Definitely a great place to stay "
"Loved our stay at Hotel Antiche Mura! Staff was super helpful and accommodating with special dietary and transportation requests. Great walkable location for easy access to restaurants, shopping, train station, and the marina."
"Grand Hotel Aminta is a simply wonderful hotel. It has impeccably clean rooms with wonderful sweeping views over the Gulf of Naples and Mediterranean Sea. The staff could not have been more courteous or helpful, and the restaurant dining was excellent. It has a real “old world” charm - the kind of atmosphere and service that is sadly lacking from so many modern, more “corporate” hotels. We’d stay again in a heartbeat.
Also worth noting it has a regular private bus service into Sorrento that works like clockwork, and many excursions to Pompeii, Herculaneum, Capri, Vesuvius, the Amalfi Coast and more can be organised straight from the hotel. Absolutely excellent!"
"The staff were great, always friendly and helpful. The room was clean, designed nicely and had a lovely little patio overlooking the water. The location from the main shopping and dining spots of Sorrento is close enough to walk and the views are superb. I really like this hotel."
"We stayed in the Comfort tent. Absolutely loved it! We had a great view of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. The Queen bed was very comfortable and since we were there in late October, the central heating was nice at night.
The bathrooms were very clean and the showers were very spacious with great water pressure, which is not always the case at campgrounds.
This was glamping on the highest level.
The shuttle service to town was very handy. It cost 2 euros per person, but well worth it. The walk to town was about 35 minutes, so doable, if you don't mind walking with no sidewalks and crazy traffic.
We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely do it again if we ever go back to that area!"
"This hotel was in an excellent location for exploring Sorrento. We easily walked with our bags from the train station. The staff were welcoming & helpful. The room was very clean. The included breakfast was excellent. We also enjoyed the roof top bar & pool. "
