"The property wasn’t ready when we arrived for 3pm, eventually ready at 5pm. When we arrived the fridge was not turned on so we could not refrigerate anything for several hours, the doors were left closed so when opened the fridge smelled awful & very unhygienic. Cutlery & utensils were rusty & in very poor condition. "Great location on the edge of Chinatown and next to St Peters Square for the trams and buses. Staff were lovely and friendly. Only thing I will say is the bed was situated up against the wall on one side so whoever was sleeping on that side had to shuffle down the bottom of the bed. Apart from tgat a great pjace to stay. "

"Room was 4 star as expected but the resident facilities were none existent. There wasn’t any lounge seating in the lobby, shocking! There was no where to gather, chill or any hotel refreshment facilities. There was one public bar which was hugely successful and therefore rammed! We didn’t even try to get a drink. No room service on offer! Not what you expect from a hotel, might have well stayed in a room only! Breakfast was nice. Hotel restaurant was fully booked with locals. "

"It’s unfortunate that this chain charge a premium rate for what is essentially a budget hotel with interesting decor. Check in was alarmingly quick. No ID check of any sort. Room was fine but no basics such as hair conditioner or a bottle of water makes it feel low budget. Add in a local guide/magazine in the room that’s two summers out of date and it starts to feel like they’re not too fussed about details, which is a shame. "
