"My children and I decided to finish the summer with a bang by taking an amazing beach trip just before school started. Our stay at the Tropicana was even better than we imagined!
The resort is located right on the Atlantic City Boardwalk and offers an indoor pool that is open year-round, as well as a seasonal outdoor pool. Once I parked my car, I didn’t need it again until checkout. There are plenty of convenient places nearby, including Domino’s about a five-minute walk away, plus Dunkin’ and 7-Eleven.
There are also many wonderful food choices without ever having to leave the Tropicana. The resort is so large that simply walking around inside provides great exercise! There is an escape room and an arcade for children, too. While we were inside, I was barely even aware of what the weather was like outdoors.
We booked one of the newer rooms in the Solana Tower. Next time, I may choose the North Tower or Chelsea Tower for easier access to the pools. The indoor pool is in the Chelsea Tower and closed at 4:45 p.m. during our stay. The seasonal outdoor pool, located on the sixth-floor rooftop of the North Tower, closed at 5:45 p.m.
We had a wonderful end-of-summer vacation, but I also think the Tropicana would make a great winter getaway because there is so much to enjoy indoors. My children and I had an amazing time, and we would definitely return!"
