"Breakfast was great and staff were very friendly. My only complaint which is really so minor is not a lot of storage for clothes etc or in bathroom. Basically have to leave clothes in your suitcase. "

"All staff we encountered were friendly and approachable, right from the moment we checked in. Our room was spacious enough to 3 adults and included a TV, coffee machine, kettle, mini fridge and mini bar (payable). We had use of the spa included which was lovely, we sat in the outdoor hot tub as it got dark and the temperature outside plummeted to -4. What an experience! Breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold food although it did get busy early on as everyone heads out on tours around 8. We would definitely return!"

"Although there aren’t staff present other than housekeeping, the team were very helpful with providing information and also allowing early check-in. The rooms were very clean and spacious, provided hairdryer, toiletries, mini fridge - this was essential for us. Great location - walking distance from the city centre. Would definitely stay here again. Personal preference - would like the option of additional pillows in the room "

"A very charming, smaller property that makes you feel special. Very clean rooms. Close to a huge mall, spas and restaurants. Also, near a bus stop for more travel flexibility to and from downtown Reykjavik. "

"Loved this hotel. Located just a short drive (or Uber) outside of the city, it's a nice, clean, fairly modern space. Staff could not have been nicer or friendlier, breakfast - which was included for us - was great and plenty. Parking is key, and convenient for us to get out to sightsee and explore the city, but also for a quick getaway to the airport early in the morning. Spa amenities are lovely, and overall the stay was excellent. We didn't eat at Hekla, but right downstairs and has good ratings. Food looked good as we were going by, and customers seemed to be enjoying it. "

"The shared area was lovely. The fridge was a little full, but apart from that, everything else was great. The hot tub is a must! The reception team were also very kind and helpful."
