The St. Laurent is a lovely boutique hotel. It is ideal for self-service style stays. There is a cupboard in the hallway accessible for guests with additional towels and toiletries - which is nice b/c you do not have to wait for someone to bring them to you. The restaruant on site was amazing and food delicious. The bar / lounge area was very comfortable and had a nice vibe. I will say that this hotel does not have an elevator so be prepared to walk up stairs (three levels max).
They’ve thought of everything. Enough loungers & umbrellas for all of their guests by the pool. Beach chairs & badges for the quick walk to the beach. A quick walk to tons of restaurants made for a fabulous night!
First time staying here and it was amazing! Staff were helpful, friendly, and kind. The room was comfortable, restaurant onsite was very good having some Top Chef contestants and mixologists. Everything was delicious! And the lounge onsite was perfect for an after dinner drink at the bar. Walking distance to the boardwalk, shops, the beach, and world renowned music venues. Highly recommend!
Hotel was easy to access; room was nice and clean. Our room was on the same side as their recycling, so it was a bit noisy with bottles being dumped various times throughout the night, despite being on the top floor. It is clear the staff are new and they are working out kinks - for example the front desk gave us a free drink pass that no one at the hotel knew how to use. It’s very confusing the division of the different businesses within the building, between Harry’s, Judy’s, the pool and hotel. Pool was a bit frustrating as is was very empty most days we were there but there were reserved signs on all the seats. Members have more opportunities over hotel guests, like the ability to reserve a pool seat through late afternoon, which was off putting considering what we paid to say there.
Beautiful hotel
Upscale
Clean
Beds are not the most comfortable as they are conveniently Murphy beds , but it has everything you might need .
Parking could be a hassle due to no parking in the facilities but plenty of street parking if you are lucky to find one available.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The location is very good. The bar and restaurant were very good. The pool was a bit overcrowded based upon club members and people with $65 per day passes to use the pool. The pulsating music all day long got to be annoying. For a place you pay about $700 per night, there is no parking. You have to carry all of your luggage up and down a narrow old staircase. The room walls are paper thin and very small. A few young women were in the next room and talking loud and laughing until 2am. I had to text the invisible staff so they could text the other guests. The pool is only open 10 am to 5pm in the middle of summer. They have a coffee bar but no milk or cream or sweetener. The pool towels are very thin and cheap. You can check in early or check out late for an additional 50 bucks or more. I had a good time and the on-site staff works hard but is not empowered to improve your stay.

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Staff & service
The Lounge and Bar are both charming and well thought out, and the overall vibe of the place feels modern and intentional. The pool area is nicely done too—comfortable lounge chairs, and when the staff is attentive, it’s a great space to relax. But the staff is hit or miss. Some interactions were been warm and welcoming, but others felt flat-out dismissive. It’s a bit jarring when you’re paying a premium and don’t know whether you’ll be treated like a guest or an inconvenience.
Then there’s the room—and this is where the real disappointment sets in.
The Murphy bed, which might sound charming in theory, dominates the room (probably 12x12 at best). Once it’s pulled down, there’s little to no space left. There’s no desk, which in today’s world feels like a BIG oversight, if not outright shameful—especially at this price point. Not even a chair to sit in. You ARE either in your bed or standing. If you travel with more than a small carry-on, one bag ends up wedged next to the bed.
Lighting? No individual bedside lamps, just general overhead lighting that doesn’t create any kind of relaxing or practical environment. It’s clear that form was chosen over function here.
The bathroom does have a great shower, and I’ll give credit where it’s due there. But again, no counter space! Nowhere to set a toiletry bag. The minimalist sink may look nice in photos, but it’s frustrating to use in real life.
Bottom line—The St.
Luxury, trendy, and enjoyable. The stuff was super friendly and the location was very walkable to the beach boardwalk with its restaurants and music. The rooms were immaculate and the bed was so comfortable. The best part of the stay was the pool where they served delicious food and had great music. People were also very friendly. There's a reason why it's called the social club! I would definitely come back again
