"If you’d like to experience an authentic ryokan with onsen and terrific kaiseki dining this place is a good choice. Although the facilities show some wear and tear, overall it’s clean and adequately maintained. The staff ensure guests feel welcomed and taken care of. I would stay again. "

"Perfect for those seeking a truly traditional Japanese experience- but keep in mind, it really is very traditional. The food may feel quite extreme for Western tastes, the onsens are relaxing but on the older side, and the staff’s English is limited"

"A very tired old hotel, cramped rooms, just one lift servicing well over 100 bedrooms
Very irritating that, having paid for breakfasts when booking, the management then refused to provide any breakfast.
Avoid."

"Loved this location. Walkable to the train station with all the perks of a typical Onyado Nono accommodation. This location is perfectly maintained, the staff is friendly, and the food is exceptional. One of our favorite Dormy Inn experiences in all our travels. You won't regret staying here!"
"Incredible value. Made is feel like special guests. Two people showing us to our rooms. A shuttle driver running after us to offer a ride to the train station (we didn't know there was one). Fantastic open bar cocktail hour. Delicious breakfast buffet. "
