"This was an odd property, more like a hostile or a room rental in a person's home than a hotel, but it served my needs, it was clean, safe, and was conveniently located for being far from Oslo (only a 10 minute direct train to downtown). My only issue was that I didn't receive any the check-in instructions with the key box code prior to my arrival; the issue was addressed quickly, but I had to make an international call (since I live in the US) to resolve it. I would consider staying here again."
"Great for exploring the countryside and Oslo! Lovely hotel and grounds where we enjoyed making our own waffles for breakfast, the games room- but canoeing most of all! Not sure if some staff are snooty or that is the Norwegian way 😂"
"The Hotel and it's facilities were very good. Staff were exceptional and the restaurant and breakfast service was again very good.
The only issue is that it is isolated. The hotel stands on its own. No public transport or shops or civilization within walking distance. It is approx 25 min cab ride to Oslo and 15 min to Lillstrom."
