"I moved to the Splendid because my previous hotel wasn't great; I couldn't be more pleased with my new hotel! It's very well located, but not on a too busy street so everything's on your doorstep but you don't have to cope with the noise. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Breakfast is really good and varied and starts from 6.30am which is a bonus when you go on day trips as they start early. The pool is not a swimming pool (i.e. too small to swim in) but a half indoor relaxing pool (i.e. one side is open instead of having windows) which is nice as you have the outdoors (and a nice view) without having the sun baking you. But what made my experience truly unique and amazing there is the staff who are incredibly kind, focussed on your needs and very eager to assist in any way they can. Cindy in particular is the lady who looked after me from the beginning, she was not only listening to me but remembering everything I'd said. She provided very good recommendations, always enquiring whether everything was fine. Because of a lufthansa pilots strike I had to change my return flight and lose my last full night (I stayed until 9pm so well past checkout time) and breakfast. Quite understandably, they couldn't refund me the last night but they covered the taxi cost to the airport and offered me to prepare a breakfast box even if they had no obligation to do so. They even gifted me some Vietnamese coffee they knew I love. When I go back to Hanoi, it will be my first choice!"

"Great hotel and location just outside of the old town. Great pool and bar area. The bar man made great cocktails! All of the staff were ultra friendly and helpful. Special mention to Ruby and Lisa in the restaurant, but everyone was so nice. Great breakfast! Had a massage at the spa, which was also great. Can’t fault the hotel. Would definitely stay again and I highly recommend staying here. Thank you."

The staff were outstanding—friendly, professional, and always eager to help. Their warm hospitality truly made the experience special. They were happy to assist with recommendations, transportation, and any questions I had during my stay. The location was another major highlight, with convenient access to many of Hanoi’s attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. It made exploring the city easy and enjoyable. Overall, Champton Hotel exceeded my expectations with its excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and great location. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay in Hanoi."
