"We stayed 7 days while visiting this amazing part of Colombia. The hotel is perfect - a very comfortable base to return to after a day on the river or in the rainforest. The rooms are large, clean, comfortable and well equipped, with air conditioning, ceiling fans, fridge,insect screens, a safe, a TV (but no news channels) WiFi, and a entrance area with hammock. The restaurant is excellent, and the staff are kind and friendly. Our reservation included half board, which was good considering the lack of places to eat in Leticia, other than street food and fairly basic cafes. The grounds are beautiful, with a great swimming pool. It’s a 5 minute walk to the Amazon boat transport hub, and a 15 minute walk to Brazil! (But take a tuktuk - cheap and quick). The hotel has an excursion desk which we used for all our trips - the organization and logistics were always perfect. "

"The room smelt like mold!! Staff was very unfriendly and unhelpful!! I was forced to leave after the fist night after breathing the MOLD and mildew! Fell sick after ....Terrible and worse place. I do NOT recommend this hotel find some where else !! I would have give zero stars if that was the option."

"Wonderful stay from the beginning. It’s hot there and when we checked in they offered us a nice camu-camu cocktail. My new favorite fruit. This hotel has AC and free breakfast, totally worth it. Will stay again!"

"I travel to Leticia every two to three months, I am not a tourist. I think this place takes it for granted that tourists will want to stay in an eco friendly place. But there is a big difference between eco friendly and good maintenance. There are cockroaches in the bathroom. In the middle of the night the water turned off and I couldn’t flush the toilet. Disgusting. In the morning when the water came back on and it still wouldn’t flush I opened the tank and there were two disgusting bottles of food there in the water. All the towels are worn, the shower is unpleasant. The windows don’t fully close so when the air conditioner is running the cool air will escape - not eco friendly. The handle on my door was so loose that I was locked out at one point. The staff seems bothered by everything you ask and the breakfast hours are unreasonable- the cook told me only until 8 am. I regret staying here and will not stay again. Giving two stars rather than one because the sheets were clean and fresh, the bed ample and comfortable, and the woman who cleans as well as cooks was trying her very best. I hope this place will make an effort to improve their property because the concept has potential."

"I didn’t stay at hotel. The hotel misrepresented their location. I chose the hotel because of its location in downtown Leticia; they are not located in downtown Leticia, they are located about 5 miles away from Leticia’s downtown. Anderson, the front desk employee, who also claimed to be the owner, wasn’t understanding about the situation and no help in resolving it either. Luckily, I have family in the country familiar with the city of Leticia, they put me in touch with a local travel agent who helped me find a hotel downtown Leticia. I reported the location fraud to the local tourism agency, they promised to follow up to get hotel to report correct address. I’m reporting this incident to prevent other travelers from being misled."
