"Our one-night stay here will always be a nice memory - Apulian hospitality at its best. We also booked the tasting dinner which was the best we could do. Lovely atmosphere with candlelight, real local countryside food, amazing flavors and wonderful presentation. All is very high quality. Rooms are sophisticatedly furnished, beds are really comfortable. The only suggestions I'd have is to keep the jacuzzi heated for autumn evenings, would be a wonderful experience. It’s a quiet location with amenities nearby such as restaurants, supermarket etc. The host Francesco was very responsive and provided excellent check-in instructions. I highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Thalassa Bari again. "

"The place was very convenient. My family and I kept the main door open for about 15 minutes to let fresh air into the house, since there are no windows. There is a ventilation system, but the house carries a particular scent, perhaps typical of this type of construction. The location is very safe. "We found La Maison extremely convenient midway between Bari airport and our cruise port in Taranto. It is a family establishment, very clean and safe. We used the pickup and drop off car, the service was impeccable too! They recommended a resturant for our next night stay that was not only close walking but delicious. Highly recommend. Grazi!!!"

"Trattandosi di un viaggio di lavoro non ho utilizzato le offerte come SPA e piscina. Ma, l'hotel è molto confortevole, possiede un vasto parcheggio gratuito, è ubicato in periferia (cosa che in una città piccola come Matera è realmente ininfluente) quindi senza le problematiche della ZTL e del traffico mattutino urbano. La colazione è ottima e variegata (potrebbe migliorare se le bevande calde fossero preparate a richiesta e non con la "macchinetta", che non fa un caffè o un cappuccino di qualità adeguata al gusto di un cliente italiano). Stanza confortevole, ampia, con tutte le dotazioni necessarie (apprezzato l'angolo di lavoro con scrivania degna di questo nome, poltroncina ergonomica e punto luce). Menzione di lode per la qualità di materasso, cuscini e biancheria del letto. Un filino rumoroso il climatizzatore."

"A lovely place to stay! The room is spotless, the lobby is comfortable, and the breakfast is outstanding. The only minor drawback is that you need a taxi or will have to drive to the old town; the distance is too far to be walkable. Front desk staff can readily call a taxi, however -- and to return to the hotel, you just walk to the train station to find a cab."
