"The room was spotless, bed and pillows comfy, shower very nice, and plenty of lovely towels, good temperature control. Front desk was very friendly and courteous. My only complaint is that there are not enough valets to fetch cars, especially considering the very steep price- plus tips of course, as it's not the valets' fault. Otherwise, the property was perfect. I would definitely book there again but probably would use a ride service rather than rent a car."

"There was hair in the bathtub upon arrival. We had not yet used the shower and it was still dirty from the previous person. While checking in the lady was so rude she wouldn’t look at me and didn’t respond to my questions so I asked the valet people and they were helpful. The lady who helped me check out was very polite. The valet was great, however, I was not told that I would be charged extra for having the Thule on my roof. I still have not been refunded my deposit. "

"The property was undergoing renovations when we were there. While the construction did not affect us, they appeared to be understaffed. The check in staff did not appeare to be as knowledgeable as should be and seemed apathetic to our needs. We checked in later in the evening. They only had one person at the makeshift desk at any time. "

"Staff is really graceious, friendly and helpful. I brought my dog and found that they provided a lot as well to help dog owners feel welcome. The only thing I could add is that you have to use QR codes to look at the bar menu and provide tips to staff. "

"Excellent location. We were attending a soccer game at Providence Park, only 8 blocks away. Rooms are spacious and quiet. Tavern was convenient to catch a light lunch. Very polite staff. "

"Everything was great except for the free parking. The lot is extremely narrow parallel parking. Have to back out. and when doing this at night I backed into a black metal stairway that had no safety curb and it blew out my back window and damaged the rear hatch. Had to then drive 3 hours home instead of staying due to safety of my vehicle. "

"Beautiful historical hotel in the downtown core of Portland. Originally built in 1912 there is some obvious older aspects to the building but there’s a beautiful pool, hot tub and the room rooms are spacious. Valet parking is outrageously priced and there isn’t much parking around the hotel unfortunately. There are some downsides to the downtown core due to the social services provided to homeless people down there but overall we felt safe to walk around and enjoy shopping and eating in Portland. "
