"This hotel was great, transportation was so bad that we ended up staying at hotel the whole time and staff was great, there are so many amenities. Food was good too. Room service was lovely, and the hotel had free shuttle which was a life saver. "

The host left a very helpful instructional booklet describing how to use all of the amenities, and even instructions on how to best prepare the food. "What a magical hotel complex! The buildings and grounds are absolutely beautiful and impeccably maintained. The hospitality we experienced was like none other. The hotel was easily accessed via the Tozan train. It's a short walk to the hotel from Miyanoshita Station, but there is a hotel shuttle available if preferred. We stayed in the Forest Wing and the rooms were comfortable (firm mattress!) and clean. The breakfast was delicious with amazing presentation on China and silver dishes. So many things to explore - the outdoor gardens, the onsen, the pool, the gym, the museum, and the coffee/beverage room. I would come back to Japan/Hakone just for this stay! Arigato gozaimasu!"
