The public bath facility is lovely. The hotel is in a great location right next to the train station. The hotel itself is a bit tired in places - some faded grandeur, I think.

Hakone Airu
I had a great stay at Hakone Airu, but I want to highlight that the staff is incredible and they do anything in their power for people to feel welcome. I had forgotten something at the hotel and they shipped it to my next location in Tokyo immediately - really appreciate their promptitudine!

LUX HAKONE YUMOTO
This was a beautiful property. Everything was clean, updated, and easy to find. The host left a very helpful instructional booklet describing how to use all of the amenities, and even instructions on how to best prepare the food. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we would love to stay here ...
