"Great stay! Be mindful when you board the boat to not wear running shoes as you will be getting off the boat in the sand and water. Our beach hut was big and comfortable. We had an issue with not getting clean shower towels but after some time we did get some. Staff are very friendly and kind. Lots of sunchairs and umbrellas. Plenty of food and small shop for snacks if needed. Bring reef shoes as the sand and the ocean are full of corals and rocks."

"Snorkelling off the beach is excellent, and there are plenty more options to book tours via the resort. Highly recommend the trip to Modriki - it includes inner reef snorkelling, the sandbar as well as the movie-famous island, we had an excellent day. The island is beautiful and the accommodation is very nice. We stayed in a South Beach Bure which was a gorgeous location but there were a few days that were so windy on that side of the island we couldn't sit comfortably out front of our room. The food at Water Edge restaurant was disappointing, but the other food venues are very good (although we didn't get to fine at restaurant 1808). The staff are very friendly - Dave at the pool bar is a legend, go see him for special cocktails like Pink Lips and mocktails like Tropical Ginger Spritz and Blackwater (kids loved his drinks and his warmth!). Simon and Ziggy were great guides on our tours."

"Great place to relax and the staff were friendly, although there was a strong sense of going through the motions. When the wind picked up water activities were cancelled and there wasnโ€™t much else to do, and the noise was loud in the ocean villa when the wind picked up above 15 knots. No queues for food service which is well managed, with the food being decent, but not a huge amount of variety as youโ€™d expect with one dining option on the Island. The Purple Turtle water taxi team who handle transfers and tours from the island were a great - really engaging."
