"This place is truly magical. We where fortunate enough to stay in beachfront Bure room 35. View was amazing. Food was excellent. We didn't have a bad meal. Only thing that could be improved is lunchtime menu as it doesn't change and after 6 days you feel like a change. Dinner menu changes every night and choice is excellent. I would definitely recommend this place"

"Castaway Island was an absolutely wonderful place to stay for 7 nights with 2 kids (8 & 5yo). It was so incredibly relaxed, beautiful & fun. The staff somehow remembered our names which was amazing. I thought it was a Fijian thing, but at the next (fancier) resort we were reduced to madam & sir. Nothing was too much for the team. Once they even climbed a tree to cut a coconut for us. The resort is spectacularly located on the water on two sides; so if itโ€™s windy on one side the other side will be calm. When we ate meals with the kids, we could relax to finish our coffee or drink while they played on the sand next to us. Thereโ€™s so much to do - kids club, pools, beach, snorkelling, water adventure park, kayaking, paddle boarding, day trips, crab races, frog races, kids & Fijian performances - it was exhausting, in a good way. The other guests are generally very relaxed and friendly too. A perfect day was beach in the morning; pool for lunch; then kids club for the afternoon & evening. We appreciated the warmth, welcome & playfulness of the staff including Maria, Peni, Siteri, Saena, Alisi, Solomon, Dr Sili, Ima, Una, Mickey, Snow White, Maui, Peter Pan, Zac & Zan and the many many other wonderful team members whose names I canโ€™t recall right now. Vinaka Castaway!!"

"Lovely resort...wonderful 5 night stay. Staff are absolutely delightful and are definitely a highlight of our stay. We had to move bures after our first night as there was water leaking in the bathroom. Rooms are really comfortable..no need for air-conditioning at this time of the year...breeze through the screened louvres and fan was perfect for sleeping. Really loved having the outdoor shower."
