"Room was good enough for my short break. It was bit awkward to not leave dog on its own in room when you moving your stuff in or out or going for breakfast as well. Breakfast was good and waitress very friendly. Service at front desk on arrival was great. Gave me direction were i needed to go. On the next day i asked for direction to the shop lady on front desk and she wasnt really helpfull. Nice bar next to hotel and pet friendly. Car park not free...need to pay 6£ each night you staying...."

"Location is great nice walk in to Keswick about 20 mins. Food and drink very nice and a good price. Staff all friendly and helpful. Hotel needs some renovation work but for a couple of nights it's a lovely place to stay. "

"The staff were friendly and polite especially a young blonde on reception who sorted out mix up over rooms and she played a part in upgrading us for the second night, she was credit to choice hotels. We were fascinated by the rabbits on the lawn"

"Lovely trip to the lake district to walk and attend the Marmalade festival at Dalemain House. The restaurant for dinner and breakfast were excellent and staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was memorable. "

"A lovely place to stay no doubt. We had a comfortable 3 nights stay. The staff were lovely. The location was amazing. The rooms were a bit small. We did have a cotbed but it could still be a bit bigger for the kind of hotel it is. The mattress were a bit on the harder side for our liking but it depends on what you are used to. The hotel was a bit too hot for the weather. We had to keep our window open slighly and turn off the room heating completely but it was still a bit hot as the lobby was...

"The location was great - quiet and out of the way but easily access to local attractions. I did find the room a bit warm on arrival and had to immediately turn off the radiators and open the windows. Also, the bed was a bit too hard and uncomfortable for me but that’s personal taste. The wash basin in the bathroom was cracked and I could have done with a hand rail to get in and out of the bath but that was my own fault for not requesting an accessible room. "

"Easy check in. Staff were very helpful. I had made a mistake with my booking but it wasn’t an issue and staff sorted it on the spot. Room was comfy and clean. It was quiet and private. Breakfast was lovely. The house is beautiful and has a lovely little garden. Parking on site is convenient and lots of space. "

"The hotel is charming. It’s not the most luxurious affair but everting is above average. Room comfortable and clean. Deluxe family has patio door with direct access to the garden is a plus. Their leisure facility is a bit tired and can be improved. Breakfast has enough variety. Staff friendly. Pleasant stay overall. Would recommend. "
