"Check in was easy and my room was already available. Staff were friendly and informative. The room was spacious and suitable for my needs. The building is old and showing it, but very clean and looked after. My only concern was that the mortar between the bathroom tiles is breaking up and needs attention. "

"A very welcome upgrade to a balcony room overlooking the pitch had us enjoying the rare experience of sitting in Manchester evening sun. All OK, but Hilton need to drag themselves into the 21st century by installing decent Internet and Wi-Fi. No point in having an Internet streaming TV when it's pathetic: result- no TV! That's not acceptable in a Hilton."

"I had a great stay and will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends who are visiting Manchester. I love the location as it is walkable to many attractions and it is close to Oxford train station so I can even explore nearby cities. Special mention to Wendy from Holiday Inn Express as she has definitely make me feel very welcome and share nice tips on mcr city. "

"Was a great stay. Rooms are fantastic except the bathroom door won’t stay open. It’s a very heavy thick door and auto closes . Very annoying you can’t keep it open. I’d suggest the hotel has door wedges in the room guests can use to prop open as going in and out gets annoying not to mention the noise it causes every time it slams shut. ( noise for other guests ) Also all the hotel halls have motion sensors to turn the lights on as you enter. You end up entering very dark hallways before each...

"Lovely hotel just out of the way of city centre. Clean bright airy with friendly helpful staff. Only things that bothered me as a female was no plug socket near a mirror and no coffee facilities in the room, although you can go downstairs and help yourself but personal preference is in room. But I Would definitely stay again"
