"The room was spacious and clean. I get the feeling this was once a beautiful hotel but is now dated and showing signs of neglect. The shower is a poor design that floods the bathroom. The cold water quit and we couldn’t flush the toilet. No restaurant.
The staff were very nice.

"We had a great stay here! The staff were fantastic and the villa was clean and had everything we needed. The only thing missing was warmer weather so we could enjoy the pools more but that is not the hotel’s fault that we had bad timing and came when it was cold out. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone. "

"Lovely 1 night stay on Peony Cruises in Ha long Bay. Staff was fantastic, room was spotless and quite lovely with excellent surrounding views of the water and some thoughtful touches. Only bummer was that the engine broke on the second day so we couldn't go to the caves, but it was no ones fault and an excuse to kayak again. for our dinner service, while I appreciate that they tried to make it fancy (and it was lovely!),they can probably just do a buffet similar to lunch and breakfast and I...

"The hotel was in a great location, the pool was closed due to it been off season but either way the hotel was clean, well equipped and the staff couldn’t have been for friendly and welcoming. they helped plan our h long bay day trip and we’re so accommodating with breakfast for us ready for the early trip. Overall great and well worth the money paid for. "
