"Loved our room. Very charming. Not too modern, but felt like summer camp. Carrying luggage to top was a hassle and limited food choices at restaurant. While the staff did not speak much English, they tried very hard to accommodate and understand us. Our daughter left her purse in the room and they were able to retrieve it and hold onto it for us."

"No air conditioning so had to sleep with window open - Highway noise & early light so poor sleep. WiFi was deplorable!"

"Lovely little privately run hotel in centre of town. There is free parking out back in public car park. Don't make the mistake I did and drive in the front entrance, as the only option is to reverse back out onto the main road!"

"Après la surprise d'être hébergés non pas à l'auberge du Cantou mais dans un petit hôtel voisin du même propriétaire, nous avons apprécié cette étape : l'hôtel est vieux mais les chambres sont refaites à neuf. La nôtre était au 2ème étage, accessible par escalier raide en bois, spacieuse, très propre, les sanitaires impeccables et la vue surprenante sur la basilique voisine. Très bon diner typique auvergnat (truffade et Aligot) à l'auberge Cantou... et le lendemain matin, autre belle...
