"The in house café served a free breakfast buffet and they served menu items all throughout the day as well. I haven't traveled enough to feel comfortable speaking negatively about my stay. "

"They have their own vegetable garden and you get to eat what is currently in season. A stones throw away from the start point for whale shark watching and also Whale shark adventures and tours, where you can do a number of various tours around the region. Would highly recommend."

"Everything else about Bernese was great, esp that they are pet-friendly. The restaurant good was great (some items excellent actually). Staff was very nice and accomodating. What I didn’t like about it was the fact that the faucet barely had water and the bathroom fixtures were quite poor. Also, and this is just a small matter that should not detract from our overall impression, there’s just too much plastic plants and flowers all around. "My wife and I stayed at Elysia for 2 nights in April 2024 with another couple. We had picked the place because of its proximity to the Donsol whale-shark watching, although we ended up doing other things instead while we were there. The resort is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the food in the restaurant is good. The rooms are very small and simple, with minimum furnishings. "

"A gem of a resort tucked away in the suburbs in this buzzing town of Guinobatan in the Bicol Region. Very obliging staff and great food in the restaurant albeit limited to nil in its western breakfast food selection. But why crave cereals in Rome? The swimming pools have a great lay out The rooms are basic but I felt very safe in this guarded resort. Was a great stay!"
