"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hotel Review — New Hotel Colon, Mataró Our stay at New Hotel Colon was wonderful from start to finish. The location couldn’t be better — just a short walk to the beach, great restaurants, and Mataró’s city center. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with great air conditioning and a cozy bed after long travel days. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was smooth and efficient. We especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere and how close the hotel was to the train station, making day trips to Barcelona incredibly easy. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing, affordable, and well-located stay on the coast near Barcelona."

"The room was small for 4. Beds blocked the wardrobe. There was a double balcony but the entrance to half of it was blocked by a fake wall. It was noisy, with the balcony overlooking the neighbouring hotel with loud air conditioning units. The pool was nice and there was free parking nearby. It was a short walk to restaurants and the beach. Breakfast was good but the staff were militant about taking a pastry out if the dining room with me, literally chasing after me to shout at me. "
