"The location was fantastic to the Acropolis & the subway station , so many restaurants & rooftop bar was great the view was perfect !! The room was so clean and they didn't have washcloths but that's OK I made it work. Breakfast was full of traditional Greek pastries & salad , eggs the best I've ever had crazy so tasty !! Taxi service fast & we just had a wonderful 3 days in Athens , well worth staying here ."

"The hotel had experienced a technical problem which meant that we had to be relocated to a hotel nearby for the first night of our stay. It was a little inconvenient but the Manager and her team were extremely professional and did everything they could to make up for the disruption. "

"The Acropolis Select had a wonderful and generous breakfast. The Desk Staff was responsive, professional, and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable; and the rooftop bar/restaurant had a view of the Acropolis. "

"The Moxy was great for a one night stay to hang out with friends before they jumped on a cruise. We enjoyed the room and the staff - excellent service! The surrounding area did leave quite a bit to be desired unfortunately but Athens is a big city and this is downtown so makes sense it would be a bit loud and dirty. "

"The Plaka Hotel is right in the middle of all the hot spots north of the Acropolis. There is tons of ruins to see, museums, and restaurants. The area is even active after night, so you will hear music but it dies down after about 11 pm. The rooms are fairly small and you can hear your neighbors easily. Just a typical small European hotel in the heart of the Plaka district of Athens. I enjoyed my stay. "

"Property is very cute. Transportation seems to pick up on the hour (from the airport), or just a little after. Walking distance to some good restaurants. Suggest playing white noise for sleep due to a barking dog. All in all, very pleased with the stay. "

"We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The property was clean. The room was clean and had a really nice porch area. We do not drink alcohol, however, they left a nice small bottle of wine in the room. The bed was a little firm, but there was nothing that kept us from sleeping. We stayed one night and we would definitely stay there again. We were able to be taken by van to the airport the next morning, which was very convenient. Very good experience."

"Room was huge and right above the street that proved to be a neighbourhood meeting place, which was fun to watch. Bathroom and shower was super. Breakfast, which we had to pay for was uninspiring. Young Emilia at the front desk is a national treasure!"
