"Great hotel with excellent restaurant and staff. It’s about a 25 min walk to town along the coast, passing by Moai. Only addition would be screens in doors so you can leave them open at night for cooler air."

It's pretty small and aside from tours to see the Moai and a small number of hikes, museums and water activities, I found that I ran out of things to do after 4 days. Fortunately, I was leaving then, but would advise folks to plan accordingly.

Good
2 full days of sightseeing was just right. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Chile. I would hire a dirt buggy if I had the extra day.

Rapa Nui island is great. We are so happy that we decided to come here.
"I REALLY liked this hotel. The staff here are lovely and friendly, the breakfasts are fabulous and the rooms are very comfortable. The courtyard is a wonderful oasis. It is right in town, so wonderfully positioned to walk to restaurants and shops.
Thoroughly recommend. "
"The staff is everything. They are the most friendly people we have ever had the pleasure of meeting among the many places we have been. The food quality was surprisingly good."
"From the moment you check-in at the hotel, the staff are available to assist with your needs.
The restaurant menu offers a variety of very tasty dishes.
One should consider booking various tours through the hotel. The operator is very reliable and the tour guides are, at a minimum, bi-lingual (Spanish and English).
The hotel is in walking distance of two banks, numerous restaurants and an artisanal gifts centre."
"Our Experience in Hotel Ohiro was wonderful! Mahina, the owner, who received us at the hotel, she was the Best. Her welcoming was outstanding, she is so friendly, well educated, and willing to give us the best experience in the island. She accompanied us in our second tour and it was spectacular! We loved her knowledge and attitude, great experience with her. "
