"We had a wonderful stay on Easter Island. Our hostess was lovely and checked with us by Whatsapp every day to see if we needed anything. Our plane was delayed and she was happy to let us stay on a little longer. The appartment had a lovely, peaceful balcony next to banana trees and avocado plants and was within walking distances of restaurants and the coast where we could snorkel with turtles. "We loved staying here; the porch is cozy and overlooks the ocean and family farm. The building was well kept and comfortable. The views were incredible! Karla and her family were wonderful hosts, checking in on us and willing to help with things like tours. The cottage is about 15 minute drive to town. Great stay near the center of town
"The hotel is located conveniently within a block of the main shopping area in Rapa Nui, so it is walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants and other amenities, including tour operators. The hotel is also very reasonably priced, given that it is an actual hotel that boasts private washrooms in each room, provides free wifi (which had good speeds), and includes complimentary breakfast. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. The property is a bit dated, meaning electrical plugs are not well-situated (at least in my room), and the water pressure is a bit low. I gathered these features are not uncommon on Rapa Nui. Be sure to speak to the hosts before closing/locking the front door as there are some nuances about that. Otherwise, it's a great place to stay, and would certainly recommend to those visiting the island. "
