"Charming hotel with decor that evokes a traditional China of the 1920’s, but with thoroughly updated facilities and amenities. The bathroom was very elegant and included a Western-style toilet with heated seats. The bed was very comfortable, and there was a lovely view of the river from the balcony. "Great location, helpful staff, manager SuTang was fantastically accommodating. The hotel has a beautiful feeling and is very comfy and welcoming. Located only 75 metres from the main night market in Zhangjiajie. Would recommend to all. Please be aware that there is a large language barrier and you need to organise your transfer from the airport prior as there is no hotel airport pickup."

"This is one of the better located hotels, and the price was very reasonable. The beds were too hard, but other than that it was perfect for what we needed. The manager was very helpful in recommending our visit to the park."

"The staff was friendly and polite; however, the room was not the cleanest nor the most comfortable. The carpet was pretty stained up and the bathroom only had 1/4 a roll of toliet paper. The toliet paper, I might add, was not refilled so we were on our own for that. The restaurants and breakfast were pretty bad as well. The hotel is no more than a 2.5-3 star "
