Our stay at Auberge Du Tresor was excellent. The check in process was seamless and our room was clean, cozy, and filled with character. I love how you can see the masonry of this centuries-old building in the room. Some things to note: The room size was on the smaller end. Fine for us but something to keep in mind for those that don't pack light. The hotel is ideally situated and pretty much any attraction in Old Quebec City is within a 20 minute walk. The Frontenac is literally across the plaza and the Dufferin Terrace also 5 minutes away. Du Petit Champlain is a 10 minute walk downhill. The city is hilly so be prepared for stairs.

Auberge du Tresor location is wonderful inside Quebec city, you will be walking distance of all historical places and great restaurants and shops. The atmosphere is very elegant, and their restaurant is one of the best (service, drinks and food quality top of the line). I really recommend this place to anyone interested in staying in Quebec City.

Very convenient location. Public parking is nearby and the fee is reasonable. However, beware the streets near the hotel are narrow and most of them are one way. The parking spot recommended by the hotel is excellent (8 minutes walk) but the entrance can be easily missed. If you miss it, rerouting will take another 10 to 15 minutes because of the one way streets and congested traffic. Drive slow, really slow!!!
