We were fortunate to meet the caretakers who took time to introduce us to the area and how to get the best out of the stay. The cabin has everything you need for a great stay. "My husbnd & I found it lovely! We stayed 3 nights…wished we had a week. Beach Breeze perfect. Sound of the waves lulled us to sleep. Woke to amazing sunsets each morning. Night sky is phenomenal. It would of been nice to know how to turn the outside timer lights off when stargazing or retiring for the night.!"

"The communication from Bicheno by the Bay was exceptional, making our check-in and checkout very simple (even considering we arrived after their reception had closed). We were given a larger room than we had booked, which was really lovely. It was well appointed with all the amenities we needed. It's situated in a great location close to all the local attractions and facilities (like the IGA). They provided a map of the local area and recommendations for where to go. We would happily stay here...

"On first appearance it seems like they are upgrading the front of the motel. I believe it was very messy when they bought it and it is still a work in progress. The rooms are immaculate. The view took me straight to our private balcony. Absolutely stunning view straight across the lake to the sea. I’d heard some people caught a kg of prawns in the lake in front of us the day before. The King size bed was the most comfortable bed we’d slept on in our whole trip. Extras pillows if we wanted....
