Amazing outlook

Very comfortable and a lovely outlook towards the surf. Had an amazing kitchenette with everything we needed. Comfortable bed and had a nice meal up the road.

Really enjoyed staying at this property, it is an older site and the room we were in has been renovated nicely and it was really relaxing. Great view out over the lagoon and the beach and lovely spot to watch the sunrise from bed. Easy parking, good communication and very accommodating, would certainly stay here again.

The owner Shelly was amazing. Shelly's communication and hospitality was second to none. She went out of her way to help my elderly father who made a mistake in a booking and did it out of kindness. Can't recommend Pelican Sands enough. Great job and we'll definitely come back. 👍

Lovely place to stay with awesome access to the main sights of the east coast. Fully recommend taking a kayak and getting out on the river. Owner is super friendly and very accommodating.

Nice and comfy

The rooms are beautiful inside, nice furnishings and super comfy beds. The place looks a bit old from the street and could do with some love to match the style of the interior. Great view over the sand bars and water.

Great accommodation

Great location. We were worried about what to expect when we arrived as the outside area, (carpark and building exterior) did not look great but we were pleasantly surprised by the room interior and spectacular view... The room was nicely presented and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Would recommend for a long or short stay.

Location was amazing, restaurant attached to the hotel was very convenient and a great feed but needed heating. Loved the non-contact check in. Enjoyed the spa although the tv was mounted in an awkward position which made viewing difficult while in the bath.

This property has access to the river and beachfront. Amazing uninterrupted views. Cute little rooms. Bed was amazingly comfortable, had a great sleep. Currently they are putting on Solar Panels, and encourage environmental sustainability. Is a short walk to the local pub and a great little cafe. It honestly was a fabulous little find.

Lovely hosts attending to needs quickly. Comfy king bed was great, lovely cushions and throw rugs, very warm doona. Fluffy towels, nice big shower. Great amenities for self catering and dining setting along with couch. Great large size TV. Wonderful beach front outlook, listening to the surf roll in, beautiful sunrises and sunsets. There is a guest laundry with washer n dryer, great to have a clothes rack in the room too for washing. Tea, coffee, milk, kettle, toaster and microwave. The rooms are great, don’t be deceived by outside.
