"Nice 4 star hotel. Clean. Comfortable beds and pillows. Had some trouble finding our reservation upon check in and again at breakfast. It was finally rectified. Breakfast was included and was very good. The restaurant has a very special view of both the river and the ocean. Service was generally welcoming except for delayed checkin because our reservation was not easily found in their system. Otherwise I would recommend this hotel without hesitation. "

"Excellent service, great breakfast, walk to downtown Bar Harbor.. but..i thought i booked a cottage. However we ended up in the 3rd floor (no elevator) of the main house. The trip up to the room with luggage and in general wasn't pleasant. "

"The Inn at Primrose Hill cancelled my birthday present trip hours before we were to arrive. So unprofessional and so "Terrible" is the review since we never had the "joy" of a happy birthday celebration. Full disclosure, they did rebook us at a motel in the area, but that wasn't much of a birthday "gift". "

My sister and I were filled with gratitude for the warm welcome and care that Gail shared with us along with her wonderfully delicious gourmet breakfasts. "We had an amazing stay at The Orchard House. The pictures do not do it justice. It is beautiful and special. We stayed in the Library Room. Very unique and spacious for 2 people. I am in love with the bed/mattress! The light breakfast served (coffee/tea, cereal, boiled eggs, juice, toast.etc) was perfect and a great way to start the day. The owner Bill (and his Mom Lynn owner of the vintage shop Folly) are fabulous. And the dogs, Bingo and Bay are the icing on the cake. Would definitely...

"We got to stay here for the Monday evening after re-opening on Saturday 5/25/2025. The renovations are absolutely gorgeous, and staff is friendly! Even though we got in early they were nice enough to accommodate us with an upgrade! I would absolutely go back, food was delicious and everyone was kind. 10/10 would recommend "

"I went by this place 5 years ago on another trip and said to myself cool, I’m staying there the next time. I was not disappointed! The breakfast’s were so unique, delicious and Anna serviced them up hot with a smile. Oh people say it’s too far from town, soooo! You just drive down to the visitor center at Hull’s Cove pay to park, it’s good for a week, and take the Island Explorer bus to downtown or other stops. I definitely will stay at Coach Stop Inn again wonderful experience!"

"The Holbrook house is an exceptional B&B! The building is like something out of a Hallmark movie and the owners are wonderful. The breakfast was outstanding also. We are already talking about going back and staying there next year."

"We stayed at the Munroe Inn for 2 nights to watch the solar eclipse and it was phenomenal. Olga could not have been more helpful or responsive and Inn is so charming, clean, and comfortable. Safety is a concern of ours as well and the Inn is in a residential neighborhood and is well lit for evening arrivals. Highly recommend!"
