"This hotel was a great choice. Very clean, nice well equipped gym with some heavier free weights and bench. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Just a 11min taxi ride away from the main area for night life with better prices. The most impressive part was that we left behind a tablet when we departed for Tokyo. I received an e-mail very early the next morning notifying us. They were able to get the tablet sent to our hotel in Tokyo in less than 24hours before our flight home. I highly recommend this hotel for service, cleanliness and amenities"

"LOCATION: This is the closest hotel fronting USJ, 2mins walk to the front gates. Considering our situation where we have a young kid and we want to get in line early, this is definitely the recommended option! Surrounding this hotel is a shopping plaza w/ restaurants, family mart(?) and the station. Very convenient. Actually all the hotels around here are just as convenient, but this hotel is definitely the closest. ROOM: Stayed at the "Standard City View Twin Room" Upon entering the room we have one immediate impression, it's very big for Japan-standards! It's a bit outdated but everything seemed clean. We got a complimentary upgrade to 3-beds (from 2-beds) w/o asking so that was really awesome! The AC controls were great and blackout curtains were effective. We had front view of the park too which was nice as one of the roller coasters come close to that side. We also were able to see how crowded it was in the morning before we left the room. SERVICE: No complaints here, all the ground staff we encountered were polite, professional, and spoke fluent English. We noticed that there was a staff standing in the middle of the floor looking around to see if anyone needs assistance or have questions. She helped us with our luggage hold and some of our questions; a very pleasant interaction! TIPS: The only thing to note is that they do not offer bottled-water. Instead there is a water fountain on each floor (?) where you can refill your bottle. STAY AGAIN?: Yes!"

"The Cross really is situated in the heart of the biz in Osaka's Dotonbari but it's still a peaceful stay. It's only a few stops away on the subway from JR Shin Osaka and to the hotel is easily walkable from Shinshaibashi."
