"We had a wonderful stay on Easter Island. Our hostess was lovely and checked with us by Whatsapp every day to see if we needed anything. Our plane was delayed and she was happy to let us stay on a little longer. The appartment had a lovely, peaceful balcony next to banana trees and avocado plants and was within walking distances of restaurants and the coast where we could snorkel with turtles. If we lived nearer we would be back every year!"

"We loved staying here; the porch is cozy and overlooks the ocean and family farm. The building was well kept and comfortable. The views were incredible! Karla and her family were wonderful hosts, checking in on us and willing to help with things like tours. The cottage is about 15 minute drive to town. We rented a car from the family and had no trouble getting around. They picked us up and dropped us at the airport too. "

This is an extremely isolated island -- one of the most remote places in the world -- so obtaining building supplies and such is a challenge, so most places are behind on maintenance when compared to other locations around the globe. Just accept this as part of the experience or this is not the right destination for you."
