"This property is all about the beach. The amenities are very basic. It's not the place I would stay if I the plan was to 'not leave the resort.' Its an affordable place with EXCELLENT beach location, the villas are clean and nice - but I would not plan to stay for dinning or spa or any extras or comfortable 'hang out' common areas - you will need to leave for that. "We enjoyed our week stay at this hotel. Our room was small but the shower was nice, plenty of hot water, mini fridge and AC. The hallway table and chairs allowed us to play cards and enjoy a drink with other guests. The main level had a large kitchen and dining area to enjoy a simple breakfast. "This “resort” is run down. The staff does the best with what they are given. They try. There were days with no power, no water and some restaurants weren’t open. Small gnats come up out of the sink every night/morning. House keeping didn’t come every day. Booking excursions were a good escape (sadly) I did hear that the resort will be closing soon. It should and make room for the new, bigger and better place. The place is falling apart. "
