"View from the rooftop is absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, the roof is closed/ locked until 8am, so you can’t go up there in the morning to watch the sunrise over the sea (part of the reason for booking this place). Building is still under construction, as well as several nearby buildings. So expect to hear pounding throughout the day. "The apartment is great and pretty central to Play del Carmen but we had issues with the noise - two buildings next door were being in construction and bars nearby blared music till around 1 am. Big props to Jose who's very nice and prompt responding to any requests - our 5 gal water dispenser bottle cracked at 11 pm and he promptly came to change it (the water dispenser option is a great feature in itself for foreign clients not wanting to drink the local tap water)."

"When arriving to Kuun Taak, we got our walk-thru and I really liked what I saw. The property is very beautiful and has a second floor since we booked the family section with two bedrooms, private hot tub and a private pool. The hot tub on the second floor still had leaves in it. This was a huge disappointment since I was looking forward to the hot tub after a long trip..but I digress and I didn't make a big deal at the time. I was told that if I make a request that the hot tub would be prepared....

"Loved the property and the condo. It was very clean, stocked with essentials, and had multiple pools. The rooftop restaurant was nice and food was awesome. They do have assigned underground parking.Only downfall is finding it and the streets are horrible. We received our checkin email the day of but was able to checkin a hour early. If your not fluent in Spanish definitely have a translator app available because majority of staff speaks Spanish but everyone was very nice."

"The electric tiny stove is not hot enough to cook properly, the shower doesn't have enough water flow, the fridge takes 2 days to start cooling after is plugged in, air conditioning works but it takes half day to cool. Pool is ok, but is at the rooftop. "

"This is the WORST place I’ve ever booked! When we 1st came to the property there was no line no wait but when we got to the room the sheets were okay the bathroom was dirty and the toilet seat was broken falling apart (it did when we left) also. "The rooms are up to date. The resort itself is very clean and well maintained. Four pools with very clear water, the beach is small but beautiful, and very swimmable. The buffet is great, but the restaurants suck. We tried the stake house, and two others, they were all bad! The service around the pool and by the beach was outstanding. The only thing that it lacked, it was the activities during the day. That was not what we expected. Too much of water acrobatics, every day the same thing. They can do better than that. Also they had karaoke night 6-8pm. That was the worst time, everyone was at dinner."
