"Front desk was super nice, upgraded us for same price. Room was super tight but it was just me and my 11 y/o boy. Anyway, what are you doing starting in a room if you’re coming to NYC?! We loved the ping pong table downstairs, Murray Hill neighborhood is convenient for just about everything. "

"The Citizen M is a spotlessly clean and bright hotel with great staff and an amazing interior. It's steps away from. Broadway and Times Square. I'd definitely stay again. Love the iPads in the rooms to control lights, temperature, blinds etc. A great place to stay!"

"A very nice hotel and location. A bit dated especially in the bathrooms. The towels need to be replaced. Threadbare. Our room had fruit flies. So annoying!!! The shower needs repair. Had to do a lot of manipulating to get warm water. The maids came every day and made the beds and gave clean towels, etc. That was much appreciated. Hence the 4 stars instead of 3."

"The staff were great. Bellhops securely stored our luggage prior to check in. Complimentary water upon arrival. Beautiful lobby and rooms in beautiful area right by Lincoln Center. Very spacious room. The extremely dim hall lights with the dark brown wallpaper made for really dark hallways. We would definitely stay there again. "

"I was so impressed with the Sonesta! I was visiting NYC with friends from Texas and they were so surprised at the friendly service (having believed all New Yorkers are mean :-)) Every person we encountered, from the front desk to the bellman - each person was friendly and helpful. The rooms were large, very clean, and comfortable. I was not expecting it to be so quiet either. I will absolutely stay at the Sonesta again! "

"Successful short family break. Lovely staff, good cafe in the hotel and Bar 54 is a nice place to go. We had a high room and twin queen beds. Really enjoyed our stay. "
