"Working in the area, made a change from the standard hotels, lovely and clean and carpets throughout made my stay nice and quiet, well maintained and pleasant welcome from Peter, Met Justine in the morning, welcoming well catered breakfast available. I had room 4, a single en-suite room, with coffee/tea in the room and clean shower facilities."

"A lovely place to stay, our room was very cozy and clean and smelt lovely. The breakfast was very good. What you have to take into consideration is, it is a working farm so not everything is going to be squeaky clean. I enjoyed my time there, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again."

"Really happy with my stay. Half the price (£65 for Walnut Room) and twice as good as city centre chains. There was a bit of traffic noise (building is close to a busy road) but the room had character (v high ceilings), nice furniture, comfortable bed, was clean and in a good location. Easy to find fault in places but as someone who regularly works away for work, this is definitely a 'come back to'."

"The sirlion steak was cooked to perfection - best for a long time. The Nicky chalet was lovely, could have done with a paved pathway to get there and not grass, which I brought into the chalet on shoes, and the grass was wet in the morning to walk for breakfast and car park"

"Very near to a beautiful country side where to go for a walk and watch sunset. Only 10-15’ from city centre. Super clean, they make your room everyday without you asking and add everyday cookies and water."

"Warm clean and comfortable stay "

"We are visiting family who live down the lane. When we first arrived they had us in a room above the entrance. Since it was warm we kept the windows open but unfortunately could hear people as the exited the building. The owner allowed us to move to a quiet room. The owner,Dave, is wonderful. Allowed us an early check in. Dave is also the chef and did a stellar English breakfast!"

"Excellent venue, free gym and pool access in huge University sports centre.- worth a lot in itself For any graduates , great nostalgic setting. Rooms very clean - traditional academic pine decor. Accommodation is named after son of Captain Scott & former Chancellor of the University. Extremely good value for money, room has everything you could wish for"

"It was a very comfortable sleep. A large big room with plenty of storage. The only drawback is that I would have appreciated a mini kettle in my room. I was on the third floor so had a little bit of a trek to the kitchen."

"Beautiful and spacious hotel room in the heart of downtown. Nice bathroom, with a well maintained shower. Plenty of hot water. Fridge, microwave, dishwasher, stove on site for your convenience. The hotel is right in the heart of downtown Birmingham, and the whole downtown is walkable from the hotel. 5 stars!!"
