My wife and I enjoyed out eight-night stay at Landis. Staff were all extremely attentive, courteous, and helpful, including the cleaning staff, who checked daily (sometimes twice a day) if we needed anything. Check-in was quick and efficient, and a porter brought our luggage to the room. We had a pleasant stay and would consider booking again. There is an elegant Chinese restaurant on the lower lever of the hotel with some nice decorations, and the head waiter assisted us in choosing several entrees as we were not familiar with much of what was on the menu. Breakfast is served daily on the lobby level in what during the day is a French restaurant.

Nice rooms, albeit very dusty. Helpful and attentive staff. Problem is noise from other guests slamming doors and making a noise during hours of sleep; non-stop rudeness. Sadly I would not stay again.

The hotel is not huge, but it feels like home stay. Free breakfast is included in the price, but we were not able to enjoy it because we had to leave much early before the breakfast was served. The staff prepared simplified breakfast for us. That's pretty good. The furniture is well placed and extremely functional. It's located in the center of Taipei. There's a bus stop about 40 feet from the front door of the hotel. We took a bus to join a dinner party. We reached the destination in 20 minutes. There's a night market, which takes 15 minutes to reach. The MRT station is 8 minutes away. Very convenient! Highly recommended!
