Location is excellant near a very lively plaza. Room is very functional with a mini kitchen and a fridge. We had a window open in to plaza that made it interesting. They are in process of finishing the upgrade of the hotel, so ask for a fan as room tends to be warm
Nous sommes restés quatre nuits au Franziskaner en avril 2026. La chambre est très propre, moderne, compact mais comprend tout le nécéssaire pour cuisiner. La salle de bain est grande, bien éclairée, très fonctionnelle. L’hôtel est bien situé dans le vieux quartier Niederdorf de Zürich, à proximité de la gare centrale, de musées et d'une très grande offre de restaurants et de boutiques. Le personnel est courtois et attentif. L’édifice est bien insonorisé et si on garde les fenêtres fermées, c’est bien tranquille. Il faut savoir que les fenêtres donnent sur une cour intérieure où se trouve les terrasses de quelques restaurants et donc il y a de la musique et du bruit jusqu’à environ minuit et aussi tôt le matin lorsque le secteur est nettoyé. À part ce bémol nous avons apprécié cet établissement et n’hésitons pas à le recommander.
