Friendly staff really make the difference, and being literally in the middle of Ypres you are close to everything - 3 minute walk to the Menin Gate, surrounded by restaurants, bars and some incredible history. "It was clean and nice room. Plenty of space. I was there for the Paris-Roubaix Challenge and the room has a lot of space for my bike. Next challenge I will definitely stay there again. "

"The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, which was definitely the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. The bathrooms and toilets are very old and look quite tired. The shower curtain was visibly dirty along the bottom edge, which wasn’t pleasant to see. The floors and carpets throughout the room also felt worn and outdated. In addition, the cups provided in the room were cheap plastic, which gave the room a lower-quality feel. Another disappointment was the parking situation: we booked through Expedia and had to pay for parking, while it apparently would have been free if the reservation had been made directly through the hotel’s website. Overall, while the staff were great, the facilities and overall condition of the hotel really need updating."

"Modern, fairly new, clean and comfortable room. The staff was friendly. It was a little difficult to find when walking from the train station. It was about a 10-minute walk with luggage. It is the farthest building in a row of buildings, and the entrance to the hotel was a little tricky to find, but it was easy once we figured it out. There are a grocery store and several restaurants at the train station. It is about a 15-minute walk to the old town."
