"We read other reviews about getting to the B&B from public transportation and then walking as well as bringing food for dinner which we found to be extremely helpful. The property is quaint and beautiful with amazing views of the mountains. The staff is extremely helpful and kind. Our room was the “Lemongrass” room and it was fantastic. Very clean and comfortable. The B&B provided delicious breakfast with tea/ coffee for the mornings. The location is also very close to a sunrise viewing point....

"Comfortable and not expensive, it was a decent rest stop on our bicycle trip. There was nothing outstanding about the rooms, and I wasn’t happy with the cigarette ashes under the bed and the smoke smell in our ‘no smoking’ room. I would like to say that the reception staff were helpful and stored our bikes for us. "

"The Block House exceeded expectations. The staff was so friendly, it felt like staying at a dear friend’s house, a really nice house, like the house from Parasite. Every morning, the staff prepared a beautiful western breakfast and every afternoon, tea and cake. On our last day, we had to leave early and the staff prepared our breakfast ‘to go’ and placed it in our fridge. One of the best overnight experiences we’ve had due to the attentiveness of the service."

"This is a small family run hotel. The hotel is located about 1km from the Shuishe pier and was a easy walk along the lake via the pedestrian bikeway. We selected a double room with a view of the lake. The room was very nice and quite large. It was clean and had screens to keep the bugs out if you wanted fresh air. It had a balcony with a small table and 2 chairs and we were able to enjoy the great view along with a glass of wine. The shower worked well and had plenty of hot water. The owner...

"This place was so difficult to find and get to because it is located in a very narrow alley. Parking space was extremely small. The owner's attitude was rude! on top of that the bed size was wrong. The owner told me that they never had a king size bed. the information online was false!! the room is tiny as well. Please do yourself a favor and DON'T book here. "
