"This was a perfect location for visiting Universal Florida and Islands of adventure. It was not as crowded as other hotels in the area. Staff was extremely helpful."

"Love the pool and lazy river. The 26$ per day for parking is a bit steep. Especially for us Canadians who have to convert. The rooms are showing their wear. I’ve been there when they first opened and there doesn’t seem to be any room updates. Hot water in shower was an issue, broken closet door. Bathroom very dated and worn."

"Another stay at Dockside for our family of five vacation. This time we arranged for two adjoining rooms. Stay was pleasant. Staff was friendly and helpful. Place was clean and the texting service made getting extra towels and pillows a breeze. Pool was well attended by staff/ lifeguards and areas were well kept. The ONLY issue was housekeeping staff knocking at 8AM everyday… we are on vacation… please don’t knock before 9AM..lol But that was the only issue we encountered and not really that big of a deal! The buses were a thing of beauty- we didn’t have to wait 15 minutes at any location. Amazing stay!!!"

"The hotel was not worth the money. You’re paying for the fast pass for Universal. The TV was ancient (in their defense they did send a flyer saying they were upgrading TVs within the next week or two, which doesn’t affect my stay). The room itself was also dated, no usb c ports, loose toilet handle, very basic all around. Housekeeping hadn’t come by 3:30pm one of the days, which is annoying. The hotel staff is very nice. Julian at the check in counter was awesome and probably one of the nicest people there. Cleaning staff were also great and friendly. The only staff I didn’t enjoy was the lifeguard staff. They shut the pool down for rain, and when it was done they came out joking and laughing and ignoring me and went inside then took approximately 25 minutes to reopen the pool area afterwards because they were too busy chatting and playing around with each other. The coffee inside the hotel was pretty decent, and I also enjoyed the bar. Drinks were good and decent sushi/healthy options. Overall I would decline to stay there again, unless the rates were significantly lowered. "

"This property is dirty. The room smelled horrible. And overall it was filthy. The towels were small thin and hardly useable for a shower. We asked for a late check out but still they heavily knocked over and over. The staff was kind but overall this hotel is very dirty and run down. "
