"The location of the property is fantastic it is situated right beside the ferry port and close to the national park. The national park itself is absolutely stunning highly, highly recommend. The hotel itself is a 3 star which i think is correct, I took the option of the breakfast and dinner buffet which was excellent value and really nice. The staff on site are excellent, big thanks to Petra on reception who was extremely helpful all of the time and super friendly. "
"Had a great stay! So close to restaurants and a market, the national park, the water. Very quiet, clean, safe, and beautiful view from the balcony. The owners were so nice, friendly, and accommodating. We were able to store our bags, no problem, and loved the family restaurant below the apartment. "
"An amazing room in the middle of Ston old city. Beautifully decorated and clean, it looks brand new. Breakfast was served in the room. could not fault anything and it was very affordable."
"This place was absolutely beautiful. Steps from a pool and plenty of room for our family of five. Parking was easy and in a closed area with plenty of room. Highly recommend this property for a stay."

"Sun Gardens runs like a fine-tuned machine--everyone is SO friendly, accommodating, and absolutely professional--if most business organizations in the world were run like it, it would be a phenomenal planet to live on! Outstanding in every regard!"
"The hotel Odisej is positoned at the waterfront for direct access to the sea and boasts commanding views of Pomena bay which is stunning, particularly at sunset. It is also located just seconds from the foot passenger ferry drop off which is extremely convenient and only a short walk from the national park entrance. The national park is essentially 2 salt lakes which are fantastic for swimming in as well as featuring an old monastery on an island. Reception sells the park entrance tickets which were valid for the entirety of our 10 night stay. The swimming area in front of the hotel was very busy and loungers were reserved with towels from early in the morning but there's also a lot of flat rock with overhanging trees for shade a short walk along the bay. The water is clear and good for snorkeling with plenty of juvenile fish and other small life. The rooms aren't huge, the bathroom was especially very compact but they are comfortable and clean. The real wood furniture and fixtures are actually very high quality and stylish. In general the hotel could do with some updating such as room keycard entry which was still physical key. There was a couple of power outages during our stay and the backup power kicked in very quickly. The staff are very friendly and caring and there's a nice atmosphere around the place. Food was good and plentiful and I recommed taking half board as restaurants nearby are not cheap. The hotel pizzeria was our go to for lunch. Lovely place and service."
"AMAZING!
absolutely perfect, great staff - special mention to George and Jair at the bar
Pool didnt get crowded at all either,
Food great quality, huge portions - only downside they didn't have children's size options.
Tips:
get up early before the village awakes and visit the small pebble beach directly opposite the hotel,
Your own private beach
Get the 6.50pm ferry to Lopud, have dinner on the water, watch the sun go down then get the last ferry back to Sipan
Get the bus to the other side of the island
The restaurant next door is great, family run but busy so make sure you book in advance
Transfer is worth it for the ease of mind
Will be back"
"We had an excellent stay for 9 nights. Great location, with pool and swimming in the sea.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Would recommend for any type of stay to experience the Croatian coast. "
"Kalamota Beach House is the most relaxing place we have ever stayed at. We stayed for 2 weeks and every second was pure chillout..
With only 11 bedrooms, you get amazing service from all the staff, everyone of them eager to please.. the restruant manager and his staff are really great with a relaxed manner, but professional at the same time.. The food is also excellent.
The Island of Kolocep is very small, with no cars, but lots of footpaths which gives access to all points of the island, with stunning views from cliff tops towards other nearby islands which are reached by ferry..
If you want to stay in a small boutique hotel, with excellent food, really lovely rooms with sea views.. this is for you.
On every point it gets a 10 rating, every member of staff wanting to help at all times..
Never had a holiday that has relaxed us so much.. we just have to go back to this paradise!!

"We recently had a fantastic family stay at this hotel in room 260 with an amazing sea view. With two young kids (ages 4 and 7), the all-inclusive option was perfect, and the food was consistently delicious.
There were plenty of activities to enjoy, including free access to kayaks, paddleboards, and bike rentals. Our older son loved borrowing a football, and it was great to have so many options included.
The staff were incredibly helpful. When our son got a spider bite on his ear, the receptionist lady kindly assisted us in looking for a cream and suggested a nearby emergency clinic if needed.
We were also touched by the hotel’s thoughtful gesture of gifting a bottle of local red wine and chocolates to celebrate my husband’s birthday.
We spent much of our time enjoying the hotel itself, as there was plenty to entertain the kids right on-site, making for a truly relaxing stay.
One tip for future guests: consider bringing insect repellent as the mosquitos were noticeable.
Overall, our experience was exceptional, with every detail exceeding our expectations. Thank you to the entire team for such a wonderful stay!"
