"The property is great and the restaurant has great taste and many options for family, we really enjoyed our stayed there… definitely we’ll come back!"
"The hotel is very well located in the centre of the town with everything you need (restsurants, cafes, etc.) all around. The owners are a wonderful and friendly family. The service was excellent and the breakfast very tasty. Thanks for an enjoyable stay. Highly recommended!"
"It’s a remote location. I have a 4x4 and it was challenging to get to the hotel due to the loose rocks, especially as you get closer to the hotel.
The good: remote location, very quiet with no internet access for digital detox. Good hike up to the big rock (800 meters). Good host.
The bad: cabins are not well maintained. My whole family had spider bites in the morning. "

Explore the vibrant central plaza where locals gather around the impressive cathedral for evening socializing. Visit the Paseo Zacapa shopping district for authentic crafts, then ask locals about hiking trails in nearby Sierra de las Minas mountains.
"Our stay here was phenomenal! Check-in was quick and easy, and our room was spotless with great AC, hot water, a TV for Netflix/YouTube, and a beautiful balcony overlooking the town.
The location is perfect, just a 5-minute walk to Parque Central, restaurants, cafés, and shops. Copán Ruins and Macaw Mountain are about a 20–25 minute walk or a US$2 tuk-tuk ride away.
The owner was incredibly kind and always available. After our visit to Luna Jaguar Hot Springs, she even brought us extra towels since ours were dirty from the mud. Housekeeping cleaned our room after the first night, which was a nice surprise.
Breakfast was delicious both mornings. One day we enjoyed eggs, sausage, beans, plantains, tortillas, fresh orange juice, and coffee. The next morning we had homemade cheese pupusas.
Nearby, I highly recommend The Artisan Boutique for handmade souvenirs, Parque Central for relaxing, Sol de Copán for excellent German food, Copán Ruins (hire a guide!), Luna Jaguar Hot Springs for the thermal pools and amazing US$25 massages, and Los Asados for fantastic steak nachos and steak kebabs (huge portions).
Checkout is at noon, and the owner even offered to store our luggage until our transportation arrived.
Exceptional hospitality, delicious breakfasts, a peaceful atmosphere, and an unbeatable location. We would absolutely stay here again!"
"The only thing I was unhappy with is that breakfast was not included with the Expedia reservation. However, breakfast, lunch, and dinner are available for purchase at the hotel as it has its own restaurant."
