"My girlfriend and I stayed at Villa Madre during our trip to Playa del Carmen and had a great experience. The location made it easy to explore downtown, the beach and Quinta Avenida, while the hotel felt relaxed and welcoming when we returned. We’re adventurous travelers, so the staff’s help choosing and arranging local tours was especially valuable. Our room was comfortable, breakfast was a great start to the day, and the pool was perfect after exploring. We’d gladly stay again."

"The hotel is located in a very good location, it also has parties that guest can be transferred to. The resort is fairly clean and well kept, but the rooms do need a little tlc. There are many pools and hanging out areas for relaxing and drinks. The beach was not the best. Most of the staff was friendly, a few did stand out with poor attitudes, the food was ok, it was the same product at the buffet every night, for brkfst, lunch and dinner. I did also observe a lot of repurposing the morning after with items from previous day being used for other dishes. The steakhouse food was the best, no reservations req, but do arrive early. Overall it was a great stay and would recommend."

"The room was beautiful and very clean great view overlooking the lazy river pool. The Resort was very quiet. If you like quiet its perfect if you like more atmosphere and entertainment if was not that exciting but overall the food was great and I really liked it. Only downside is the beach was awful water was brown and disgusting and we could not enjoy the beach. Smell was awful"

"O hotel é ótimo, próximo a Quinta Avenida onde há grande comércio, ao Walmart e rodoviária. O quarto é grande e confortável, os funcionários são gentis, com um sorriso no rosto para lhe atender, dispostos a ajudar. A área de lazer é muito boa, com atividades diversas e recreação. Café da manhã com muitas opções. Tem uma cafeteria bem gostosa que fica aberta até as 23 horas. Porém, Praia del Carmen não tem mar azul"
