"Lovely hotel in a perfect location. Breakfast was worth the money and we enjoyed the amenities of the pool and the gym. The bedroom was really nice with a lovely huge bed! Would 100% stay again and recommend"

"Great hotel, we had a refurbished room, which was 1st class, a very big hotel room and excellent en-suite. the only " downside" was the fact they had beautiful bedside tables, but no drawers in them, all the smaller stuff, such as underwear / socks etc had to go in the top of the wardrobe, other than that can't fault it."

"Efficient, friendly staff at check in. Excellent choice for breakfast and served promptly. The hotel was clean, although there were signs that it was beginning to look a little worn. The shower was hot. The hotel was in an quiet location, convenient for travelling to York or any part of North Yorkshire. Would recommend."
