"We originally got a two queen bed room but when we went to check in they upgraded us to the “Mario room” which we thought our kids would really enjoy. When it was getting close to bedtime we turned on the a/c which seemed to kinda work. It remained 24 degrees in our room for the next few hours. The kids couldn’t sleep in the Mario bunk beds because this room was the furthest away from the a/c. We shared the queen beds as planned originally, we were only able to cool the room off after we opened the window. Sleeping with the window open and hearing an ambulance going by, someone’s car alarm going off for about 15 min, and the busy street noise made it super difficult to sleep. In the morning I called the front desk just to let them know what happened and they should get it looked it for the next family that stays - they put it on me and said they would have had a maintance man come at 10:30 at night to have a look and I should have called. Also we were only given 3 towels for the 4 of us so I guess I should have called to get another and the shower/tub/batnroom was dirty. "

"The hotel felt slightly unfinished overall: poor paint jobs, towel bars hanging out of the wall, the wall mounted tv was quite unstable. We booked here specifically for the kitchenette. There was an odd number of dishes (1 plate and 3 bowls) and no dish cloths were provided to dry dishes or wipe counters. There were also very few towels provided. The cleanliness was also questionable. There was food left in the cupboards and fridge from previous guests and there seemed to be a layer of dust on most surfaces. The bedding was also not the cleanest. It served its purpose for a place to sleep but I’m not sure we would stay here again. "

"ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!! dirty and smelly hair in bathroom on floor in tub in sink hair on the pillows the floors were dirty staff was rude amenities .... 0/10 and the "free" breakfast was disgusting 2/10 (2 for price) = you get what you pay for ! "

"Stayed 3 nights on Mother’s Day weekend. Solo traveller in city to visit my sons. Hotel was renovating the main entrance so I had to go in through a small side door. Not too big a deal. Not handy with lots of bags. Pool looked ok when walking by it and the fitness room was closed during renovation but I wouldn’t have used either one. Staff very friendly and helpful. Suite was nicely appointed and had a great layout. Clean. Lots of great pillows of different degrees of softness. Smooth sheets and comfy King bed. Loved the walk-in shower and bathroom layout with the sink separate. A/C noisy. Bright windows that opened a bit for fresh air was great. Kitchen in suite was handy and well thought out. Nice big fridge and microwave. Didn’t stay long enough to use dishwasher. Towels very scratchy and terrible. These could definitely use an upgrade! Had breakfast 2 of the 3 mornings. Not good at all. The hot items were barely lukewarm. Coffee was decent though. If I needed a full suite again, maybe would consider staying, but the poor breakfast and awful towels probably mean I would look elsewhere. Not a good deal after all. Handy location for where I needed to be this trip."

"Loved the room, it was very clean and roomy. A little noisy from doors being closed, but people were quiet during quiet hours. We did not get a chance to use the pool and hot tub. The staff were very friendly and courteous."

"The room is extremely hot. All I was offered was to open the window and they gave me a fan. There was no central air-conditioning on. They said they were hoping to have it on in the next week or so that didn’t help me. They didn’t warn me that there would be no air conditioner."
