"Amazing room, especially for the price, even as a solo traveller. Would definitely recommend (and have done to friends and family already). Great location, can see the deer from the window. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Basically an apartment, with a hob to cook on, a washing machine, just amazing. I can praise highly enough. Wish I could have stayed longer, and will definitely return if I ever go to Japan again."

"I was such a beautiful place to stay! There was plenty of room, and plenty of pillows - rare in Japan! The decoration was very tasteful and welcoming. "Very nice hotel near entrance of Nara Deer Park. Deer often outside hotel in the evenings. Rooms small, but comfortable. European style showers and Japanese toilets. We had Japanese western style room with beds on floor. They were nice, but on firmer side. AC good in the very hot summer. They also have a small public bath and beauty rooms for men & women. Too hot for us to use in the summer but seemed nice. Coin laundry, pajamas & slippers provided. TV & WiFi. Starbucks with view of pond and attached mini store in hotel as well as Family Mart 3 min walk away. Near town, but 20 min or more to temples."

"The staff were very friendly, the location was perfect and very quiet at night. The only minor complaint would be the curtains are not entirely blackout, but that’s probably a good thing as it gets you up early in the morning when the crowds in the park are minimal. The A/C in our unit seemed to struggle to keep up making the upstairs bunk beds a little warmer, something to consider if you are traveling in Japans hot summers."

"It was probably best choice I made as really close to Nara park with all deer that can be polite but scary at same time. Worth the experience. I want say the traditional style was amazing be prepared as all stairs . Amenities like private bath traditional style ice machine on fist floor and massage chairs. And when you check out want explore can leave luggage in massage chair room until ready go next destination. I high recommend and come back."

"The staff members were wonderful: Lester and Jonathan/Check - in very quick & Silk Road Dining staff breakfast with on point! The only thing could be better was the one hour swimming time & having to make a reservation for it. That was strange and awkward. My phone was a problem and I was sure if it went through!"
