"The customer service was not bad, they were friendly. The room itself and the property was decent but a bit outdated and unkept. The biggest problem was the bed. The mattress was so bad it felt like I was sleeping on the floor. It had an additional pad/topper and it was still horrible. We had two rooms and a total of four beds and they were all in the same condition. The two nights we were there I was not able to sleep much and woke up in pain because the bed was soo bad. They need to invest in improving the hotel and buying better beds. I would never stay there again. "

"Good hotel for Ishigaki. Ample parking (extra lot behind the hotel), a good amount of restaurants nearby, and very friendly service. Would stay there again."

"Have been in Ishigaki for 6 times, Miyahira Hotel did surprise me on the location, amenities and room condition. I stayed at the new building with balcony, which works perfectly well for divers - to dry our gear. Location is quiet and just stone throw to bus terminals for airport transfer. Breakfast is the top in town, from variety and quality perspectives. You can enjoy Blue Seal ice-cream there. They also offer free coffee everyday until 5pm with paper cups to facilitate take away. Next time, I will stay in Miyahira. "

"The staff were great. The room was really small and stuffed full of furniture so not a lot of extra space. The bed was really hard and there were only two pillows on the bed, with no extra ones. The hotels was really close to lots of great restaurants. "

"The room was clean and the staff were friendly, so there were no problems with the stay, but parking was on a first-come, first-served basis, so when it was full guests had to use a nearby paid parking lot."
