"Room was clean and equipped with tea and coffee station, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Bed was very comfy! The mini bar down near reception was lovely to relax in and have a drink (reasonably priced too). Staff were friendly and approachable. Stairs only, no lift to upper rooms"

"The main issue I found that irritated me a little was the divan base of the double bed in our lodge was very dirty and stained . You could see it on entering the room and also when leaving the bathroom. Maybe putting a box valance on the base to cover this might be an idea as I did not expect that when paying a few hundred pounds for a 2 night stay. Also the chairs in the function room are I. Need of refurb or replacement. They are very rickety and 4 of our table had issues with the seats sliding off when seating or standing. Looked quite tired in that room in all honesty"

"Newly refurbished rooms are excellent. Very clean. Staff are friendly and exceptional. Lots of free parking and rooms are quiet. Next door bar/restaurant and over the roundabout KFC & Costa Coffee. breakdast and hotel bar. Great for a place to break up your journey or if you want to be near Lincoln, Newark or Grantham without being in the centre. Much better than Holiday Inn Express. Great bed & walk in Shower with added posiitive of a shower mat. The current Hotels.com rating does not reflect the hotel, cleanliness, staff and quality. For the price excellent value and as a ringing endorsement I would definately stay again. lets have more of this hotel brand"

"We always stay at the Lincoln hotel when visiting Lincoln. Staff are always helpful and attentive. Location of hotel is excellent, having breakfast whilst looking out on the beautiful Lincoln Cathedral. Good on site parking (there is a charge), very close to the Bail, Lincoln Castle, Cathedral (dating back to 1072). Had evening meal there, food was very good and prices good to. Would highly recommend a stay here"
