"What an amazing find. The location is perfect. The room was spacious and well appointed with acomfortable bed and luxurious linens. Dinner in the restaurant was amazing. Breakfast was incredible."

"Everything about this stay was excellent from arrival to departure.The staff were welcoming and very friendly.The room was very clean and the food was excellent.The only downside is that we found out during our stay that the owner has decided to sell it.We feel sorry for the staff who run it for him as they will be out of a job.Hopefully they will find somewhere pretty quick.Another pub gone to the wall."

"Gorgeous property, lovely big clean rooms, fantastic breakfast and really kind staff. We had a small issue in one of our rooms (not the hotels fault) and they sorted the area problem so swiftly and kindly. We will be back. "

"A birthday treat for my girlfriend, it was the perfect setting for a cosy weekend away immaculately clean and well presented with everything we needed, really enjoyed out stay and will definitely staying again in the future "

"The main issue was the very strong dog smell in our room. Our stay was during snowy weather, and the room was extremely cold until the portable electric heater had warmed the room up - this took about 5 hours, so I'm glad we didn't check in close to bed time. The shower was an unpredictable dribble that leaked onto the bathroom floor. The kettle was broken so was continuously boiling and the handle was extremely hot, this is of course a safety concern if we had have left it unattended. I was expecting a slightly rough and ready stay due to the bargain price, but I couldn't overlook or resolve the terrible smell. The hole in the blind was a bit unsettling. On a positive note, the bedding and towels were clean and the parking was convenient. The landlady did try to find another heater for us, which we appreciated, however the heater was broken. "
