"We ended up having moving to 3 rooms .All 3 had black hairs on the bed/pillows and the last one also had an old used contact lens on the floor.Very disappointed. Standards have dropped alot since we stayed last time.How on earth do you not see black hairs on white linen."

"The Cumberland was a decent hotel overall. The bed was somewhat comfortable, you could feel its age and the underpinnings were lumpy and uncomfortable. The bathroom was clean but there were spots on the ceiling that raised some eyebrows. Gym was clean and well stocked. Reception was overall very helpful except for delays in housekeeping/maintenance arriving to solve a plumbing issue. Great value for money for London and the location for time of year."

"It was all very nice and clean. The rooms are spacious and quiet. I found the lighting in the bathroom too dark to apply makeup. I ate in the restaurant which was fine, but if I am spending £38 for a steak I should not have to open packs of ketchup like it’s McDonald’s. "

Wide variety of options and very nice dining space. Gym was set up a little oddly and Peloton was not activated but overall a great stay! Would definitely stay again "
