"A modern bathroom in a 14th century hotel was definitely not expected. WiFi worked in the room. The staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast provided a good selection and the cooked items were really good. Sunday lunch was close to home made with plenty of different vegetables. Will definitely return!"

"Warm welcome. Lovely couple providing impeccable hospitality through our stay...a perfect weekend away with the wife and some much needed R and R away from our busy lives back home. They were more than happy to tell us about the area, including places to eat and walks etc. Food was amazing...all cooked to order, and locally sourced. The attention to detail was brilliant...eg. Providing cold fresh milk in thermo canisters for our room. Home made shortbread to accompany fresh locally sourced...
